To help people understand one another through the use of language is …… I studied interpreting and translating long before I became truly aware of my deep motivations. And it took some time after I had moved on to mediation and psychotherapy for me to realize what these fields have in common: they are building bridges of understanding – between groups of people, between individuals – and they contribute to a better understanding of oneself.
